Trullo Ulìa is a project that will continue to develop over the years. In the spaces of the Saracen trullo Ulìa, in the district of Piatone, the group exhibition 'Time is its opposite' opened in 2023. In July, summer is already over', which, starting from a reflection on the place and the building that hosts it, goes on to extend the analysis of the relationships that bind man to the environment.
The trullo with an adjacent more recent building characterises the rural dwellings of the area, defining the landscape of the Valle D'Itria and the ways of inhabiting the countryside.
In this case, the renovation work on the trullo, designed by architect Simone Esposito, is destined to progress over time while contemporary art is entrusted with the task of following its progress, creating grafts and dialogues.
