The village is situated on a hill, surrounded by the picturesque Itria Valley, with its trulli scattered here and there across the countryside.
The houses are arranged in a circular shape – round – white and shiny; the place is famous for its cleanliness, not a paper on the ground, excellent food, very friendly people and cultural and musical activities during the summer months.
