The markets are an unmissable folkloristic experience, an opportunity to learn about the habits of the locals and to buy something nice.
Here you can find everything: from clothing to accessories, from antiques to small souvenirs, tableware and food with local producers of fruit, vegetables, cheeses, cured meats and other tasty and genuine products.

“Mercato di eccellenza" (=Craftsmanship of excellence) 
in May in Lecce - check online the precise date
The exhibition takes place during “Cortili Aperti” event in Lecce, on the most beautiful weekend of the Baroque capital. The appointment is in via Rubichi 35 (near Piazza Sant'Oronzo) with an initiative capable of virtuously mixing the big names of craftsmanship with highly selected local exhibitors. They have really nice things, clothing, hand bags, jewelery, and much more . . . I do not miss it!

During the week of Ferragosto, over 80 Italian and foreign exhibitors exhibit in the internal and external spaces of the Guglielmo Marconi institute, transforming it into a large exhibition district and making the city ​​the capital of antiques.
